Forest biotope study

• A forest is more than a 'collection of trees'. We can look at the forest from different perspectives: light and dark, humidity level, soil, humus, layers in the forest, fungi and plants, young and old, animal traces, insects in the forest, ...

• Each group gathers information from a couple of these perspectives. Then we bring everything together and look for links between all these elements. This will give us answers to the question 'What is a forest?'.
